HYDROPUNK is a single-player action-adventure game with an isometric camera, combining a souls-like combat system and emergent mechanics of immersive sims.
In this world, humanity has built its civilization in the depths of the planet, where an unknown powerful entity lives. The basis of technological progress of mankind here has become hydraulic machinery, which is able to work thanks to a special mineral, that increases water in volume through chemical interaction with it.
The protagonist is a master engineer who must find the source of an unknown disease infecting the environment and whoever survived. He'll have to explore a decaying grimdark world, where every corner can tell a story, and endure battle not only for survival but to save own mind.
- Brand New World is inspired by the Industrial Revolution Era and Lovecraftian Horrors.
- Level Design marries metroidvania and immersive sim principles, complex levels can be completed in various ways.
- Combat System inspired by Souls series and survival horrors - choose your weapons and tools wisely, dodge, roll, parry, look for weaknesses and strike!
- Inventive Progression & Craft - the main asset of our hero is his sharp mind, from various resources you can create equipment that will help in any situation.
- The game encourages creativity in solving problems, brute force is rarely the only way.
